“When the crowds finally went away, a few of Jesus’ followers were brave enough to ask for His body so they could bury it.

Two men carefully remove the body from the cross and lay in the arms of His waiting mother.

Tears run down Mary’s cheeks as she holds the Son given to her so many years before.”
The loss of a friend or family member is an incredibly difficult pain to bear. All too often in our busy lives we forget the sacrifice that Jesus made for us, and do not mourn for Him.

We should remember Him as a loved one, and think back on His sacrifice and His teachings in the same way we would recall a fond memory of a loved one.

Do you make time to remember Jesus’ life?
How do you keep Him in your Heart?

"Sometimes when you're doing simple things around the house, maybe you'll think of me and smile. You know I'm tied to you like the buttons on your blouse - Keep me in your heart for a while."

“Jesus, how brutally You were put to death. How gently You are taken from the cross. Your suffering and pain are ended, and You are put in the lap of Your mother. The dirt and blood are wiped away. You are treated with love."
