"Jesus, although Your marks of suffering are seen,

Your pain is gone.

After feeling weak and helpless,

You feel strength again.

Help us gain strength in our weaknesses.

May pain turn to happiness,

fear turn to love,

and grief turn to joy."
Jesus was beaten and bruised, abandoned and hated upon. But He rose. Despite the pain and suffering, Jesus rose above it all in the end.

“I’ll rise up, I’ll rise like the day, I’ll rise up, I’ll rise unafraid, I’ll rise up, and I’ll do it a thousand times again, and I’ll rise up, high like the waves, I’ll rise up, in spite of the ache, I’ll rise up, and I’ll do it a thousand times again for you”

As you listen to this song reflect on a time in your life in which you encountered pain or hardship. Who or what encouraged you to rise above?

This lenten season is out of the ordinary, have you used this as an excuse to turn away from your faith? After all that is going on in the world today is over, how will you rise? Listen with your heart. Don’t forget to make time to practice your faith.

How will you continue to make room for God in your new life? This IS your second chance. Choose to re-build on a strong foundation of faith. All things are new again.
