"Use Somebody" Kings of Leon

Although Jesus is suffering under immense pain and has been abandoned by His close friends, He still takes time to comfort the crying women around him.

Who in your life is a selfless helper? Take some time to think about the one who always has your back no matter the circumstances. Give thanks to the selfless helpers in your life this Lenten season.

“I've been roaming around, always looking down at all I see. Painted faces, fill the places I can't reach. You know that I could use somebody - someone like you”

During this uncertain time, it is important continue to carry love and hope in our hearts. Although we are restricted to our homes, try to help out the ones around you. Compliment somebody, offer to help with homework or chores, be company to a family member while working from home: the possibilities are endless. Be the light, the selfless helper, in someone’s life not only during this pandemic and lenten season, but everyday.

"Jesus, as You carry Your cross you see a group of women along the road. As You pass by You see they are sad. You stop to spend a moment with them, to offer them some encouragement. Although You are have been abandoned by Your friends and are in pain, You stop and try to help them."

Leader: We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.

All: Because by your holy cross You have redeemed the world.
